Kluang Chong Hwa High School is located in the state of Johor in the southern part of Peninsula Malaysia. In Malaysia, the annual average relative humidity is over 80%RH.

Originally, the school used wood cabinets to store the electron microscopes and the optical microscopes. However, the running costs of the electron microscopes and the optical microscopes are quite high. In 2013, Kluang Chong Hwa High School ordered a customized auto dry cabinet to store the electron and the optical microscopes. The auto dry cabinets prevents the optical lens from oxidation and molding. With this protection, not only will the running costs and the maintenance charges will be much lower than before, the school will also be able to use these microscopes much longer.
